WINE PAIRING

The wine pairing animation is a project in which I had the opportunity to collaborate directly with the animator Kyle Kim. During this project, I focused on creating consistent lighting throughout the sequence while also focusing on creating good shaping for the characters on all camera angles.

Key Light Reference

I took inspiration and references from the film La La Land to create the set and the lighting rig. I made a color palette based on references to serve as a guide to create the mood and key lighting for the animation.

  • Responsible for: Set dressing, UV unwrapping, shading, lighting, rendering, and compositing.

  • Software used: Maya, Redshift Renderer, and NUKE.
